A one stop shop for environmentally friendly deals

Spiral will be showcasing a range of environmentally friendly and recycled products at a major business event at Haydock Park Racecourse this month.

It's the latest in a series of initiatives, undertaken in conjunction with our partners Envirolink Northwest, aimed at promoting the range of "green" products and services available through Spiral's approved suppliers. 

The aim of the event - entitled BeGIN 2007: Buying Green in the North West - is to demonstrate the benefits to businesses of buying and specifying recycled content and environmentally preferable products. 

By taking positive steps to use "green" products whenever possible, businesses can improve their image, meet environmental standards, and at the same time save money on day to day business purchases.  And, through Spiral's "one stop shop", businesses can have access to environmentally friendly deals in the following cost categories:

• Office stationery items (such as copier paper, pens, notepads and envelopes)
• Printed products (including brochures, letterheads, business cards and Christmas cards)
• Personalised promotional items (keyrings, mugs, pens, rulers etc.)
• Commercial mortgages (discounts off standard building society rates are available for business premises that meet pre-defined environmental standards)
• Energy assessments and surveys
