Andy McCorquodale

Andy and Mel Williams set up Spiral Group Purchasing in 2003 to provide procurement and cost reduction advice to businesses who were deemed too small by larger consultancies for such advice.

As with Mel, prior to establishing the company Andy had also successfully run a franchise for Expense Reduction Analysts, working at board level with large corporate enterprises, including Wedgewood, Royal Doulton, and Transco, to highlight six figure savings in basic overhead areas.

In 2005 Andy left Spiral to join Pannone LLP, a large Manchester city centre law practice. There he was responsible for setting up and developing the CostController Buying Group that ran alongside Pannones Connect2Law support and referral network. In addition to growing the CostController scheme Andy was also responsible for reducing Pannones own overhead costs by over £200,000 per annum.

Andy rejoined Spiral in 2010 to assist Mel Williams with the continued growth of the company.
