History

Spiral was established in 2003 and is an independent company offering procurement and cost reduction advice and services.  Spiral was set up to provide  this type of advice to a large percentage of UK businesses where the provision of such advice can be deemed as not commercial by procurement consultants, because of the size of the business.

Spiral’s client base includes SME businesses and trade associations throughout the UK, as well as charities and other not-for-profit organisations.

Since 2003 Spiral has built up an enviable network of suppliers and third-party specialists, all of whom have been tried, tested and accredited by us for quality and service levels, in order to become Spiral Partners.  The prices and terms we have negotiated with our Partners are generally at a level that would normally only be available to the largest companies. 

In 2005 Spiral set up a specialist utilities division to provide expert advice to our clients on all matters to do with their electricity and gas supplies. A second specialist division covering telecommunications was established in 2010 to provide similar independent expert advice to our clients in all areas of fixed and mobile lines. 

The Spiral team consists of people experienced at senior level in purchasing, finance, cost management and general business consultancy.  Spiral executives have operated successfully in large multi-national corporations and have run their own businesses.

Our Head Office is in Bolton, and there are Spiral Group offices throughout the country.
