Making Them Work For You
It is simple really (but we would say that!), all you need to do is:
- Understand within which areas of supply your members are looking for solutions
- Research that market and vet suppliers to find the most suitable
- Undergo due diligence with the chosen supplier(s) particularly in respect of their track record with similar groups
- Structure your deal with the supplier(s) to ensure some form of exclusivity in what they are offering
- Market these deals to your membership in a way that they can see what the true benefit is of using your chosen supplier
- Monitor the performance of the supplier and gauge the impact, positive or negative, that they are having on your members
- Regularly check the market place to make sure that the “exclusive” deal is still relevant and that there is not something better out there
