Uniworld
Who Are Uniworld?
Uniworld commenced operations in 1995 and after 4 years of steadily building a strong client following, and a sound financial and administrative base, became a Service Provider at the end of 1999, packaging the services of leading providers and invoicing customers with a single, compelling solution to their needs. In 2002, Uniworld became a partner of BT Wholesale and was able to offer line rentals and other services as part of its offering.
I’ve always had a good service from BT – why should I switch to Uniworld?
Uniworld can offer savings on line rental and calls, without any set up rental costs or disruption to your existing service. Selecting Uniworld as your preferred provider is done automatically at the point of entry to the public voice network (the local BT exchange). Also, with Uniworld you get a personal office based Account Manager, who will deal with every aspect of your service quickly and without fuss. At Uniworld they employ no electronic interfaces. Your call is always answered in person. You will speak directly to your Account Manager (or if unavailable, their deputy). You will never have to leave a message on a voicemail. They do not use them!
By switching to Uniworld, does this mean they will take over the ownership of the line from BT?
Changing suppliers from BT, or indeed any other supplier, to Uniworld does not alter the ultimate ownership of the telephone line. The line is still owned and maintained by BT. The difference is that you will pay line rental costs and call charges to Uniworld.
In the event of a fault or problem, does this mean I still phone BT?
No. You will report the faults to your Account Manager at Uniworld, who will progress this with BT on your behalf. The maintenance service offered will be the same service agreement you currently enjoy with BT. The difference is that Uniworld, a major customer of BT, will be dealing with BT for you, rather than you having to deal with BT as an individual. Since the lines are still part of the BT network, it will be BT engineers attending to the problem and the final service delivered will be exactly the same.
Will Uniworld be able to provide the full range of services that I require?
Whatever your need, be it inbound services using freefone (0800), lo-call (0845) or national (0870) combined with a highly functioned services platform, or lo-cost internet dial-up, broadband, conference calling, data connectivity, mobile voice and data, or any other communication service, Uniworld is a one stop supplier that will be able to meet all your business requirements. | ||
