Different from other cost reduction companies
At Spiral we believe that we offer our clients a unique service. Spiral was created because the directors saw large areas of business who were not being served by the traditional service providers, and since our inception we have continued to develop our service as something more than anyone else provides.
The cost reduction market has a client “sweet spot” of any business turning over between £20m and £50m. There are two reasons for this –
- There is a chance that the company does not have a full time procurement department.
- The company will not be spending enough money on a single overhead area to warrant a contingency fee project.
Traditional cost reduction consultancies will charge a fee based on savings, and this is usually 50% of savings taken over a period of between 18 months and 3 years.
Spiral’s own fees are based part on a regular monthly amount which is determined by the size of the client, and part on payment from our preferred supplier for the marketing of their services.
Where a contingency fee project is a necessity, be that historical audit work, or where the incumbent supplier cannot be changed, then, we will charge a substantially lower share of savings for just 12 months.
